I had a lot of fun covering the sound design and mix for this short documentary. It follows a group of inexperienced French sailors who attempted to sail around the world in a small boat. They were very lucky to survive! It was good to get out of the studio and record sound for the interviews. The sound on the boat was self shot by the sailors using ‘Go-Pros’ so I had big job on my hand re-creating the sound of raging storms in the pacific ocean in surround sound.
